Sydney and Amy create a masterpiece.

Tyler, Susan, and Aubrey with raw materials.

We dyed these eggs with silk ties like this.

Maddie, Allyson, Amy, and Ally unwrap the ties.

We rode our bikes to the park and the grocery store.

Some people have a little too much fun on the baby toys...

When we got back, Maddie was bushed.

Ally, Maddie, Sydney, and Amy used some more energy on "Dance, Dance Revolution."

Allyson got in on the fun too.
Slap-happy! Amy taught everyone a hand-rhythm game she learned years ago on the TV program "Zoom." Ally amazed us with how fast she learned and got GOOD! As a matter of fact, she may have WON THIS ONE too if it hadn't been for that mean little red-headed boy who poked his head up in the middle of the game and threw her rhythm off!
Another fun day of stay-cation!

Your easter eggs are beautiful! I love all the pictures, especially the one of Maddie exhausted on the couch! I hope everyone is feeling better!
How fun! Those have to be the coolest eggs ever! I NEED to learn how to do that. Also, I love DDR (I play myself) and I also know that rhythem game. Fun, fun. :)
Good thing we packed so much fun into Friday. I can't believe Stay-cation in over. I am so sad. Sad, sad, sad.
Your eggs turned out gorgeous! I've been wanting to try the tie trick ever since I saw Martha do a demo on the Today Show a couple of years ago. Thanks for sharing your "stay-Cation" days with us. You and your girls are so creative!
Wow - those eggs are so cool! Where did you get all the ties? My girls have learned a similar cup game - very fun & fun to see the video. I am very impressed with all you have done to have fun during the week! Great memories for sure!
Those easter eggs are SO NEAT! I will have to try that next year... or maybe sooner, just for fun. :) Thanks for sharing yet another wonderful idea!
