Quote of the Moment

In the tradition of The Amazing Anderkids (man, those kids are funny!) here is our whispered conversation in the middle of church yesterday.
Aubrey, age 4, looking at numbers written on Maddie's hand: Did everyone get a "7" and a "5" or just you?
Maddie: Everyone had a different number.
Nana: Did you know those numbers or did Maddie tell them to you?
Aubrey: I just knew them.
Nana: Man, you are getting smarter every day. You are one smart girl!
Aubrey: (Stares at Nana for a few seconds) FROGS are not smart. They eat each other! One frog swallows the other frog and it gets stuck in his throat. And then they BOTH die!!

Um. Yeah. Those frogs. They are really dumb.

I didn't know how to respond to that one. Just had to laugh out loud!

I love having grandchildren!

That's hilarious! Stupid frogs. Your grandkids are all getting so big, and the newest definitely is a cutie. How fun.

It just really is the best isn't it? I mean having grandchildren. Can't wait for the retreat to Fairview.
